Who we are, what we do and for what purpose
We are the Association of Latin American Electricity Distributors, a non-profit organization created in 2021 with an eye on the present and the future of the sector.
Our members define the Association’s strategy to consolidate the role of DSOs in the energy transition and face the challenges of climate change together.
A great team of professionals executes daily the actions that consolidate us in Latin America and in the world.
General Assembly of Associates
He has vast professional experience, nationally and internationally, in the energy sector and in basic services, with more than 26 years in the Shell Group and more than 15 years in the field of electric power standing out in his career. He has been General Manager of the Chilquinta Group of Companies for more than 10 years.
Electrical Engineer, with a master's degree in Computing and Automation from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), an MBA in Energy Management and an MBA in Business Economics, both from the University of São Paulo (USP).
He has a career with more than 30 years of professional growth developed in large national and multinational companies. He served as Director of Operations, Director of Clients, Director of Revenue Management and Director of Engineering at Eletropaulo. He was also General Director of AES Ergo and is currently Head of Networks at Enel Ceará.
Electrical Engineer with more than 25 years of management experience. He began his international career in 2011 in Spain as Director of Infrastructure and Networks at Cataluña Endesa SA. In 2016 he was appointed Global Head of Network Business Operations and was also responsible for the development of the Smart Meter Project in Latin America and Europe, as well as the Data Mining Project (Revenue Protection) of the Enel Group Distribution in South America.
He is currently responsible for Network Operation and Maintenance at distributors of the Enel group in Brazil. In May 2022, he assumed the position of Company President of Grupo CIEN S.A and also serves as Vice President of ITALCAM-Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
Electrical Civil Engineer from the Federico Santa María Technical University. He has more than twenty years of experience in the energy sector. In 2005 he joined Enel Distribución Chile where he worked in the areas of Regulation, Energy Marketing, Commercial Operations and Customer Service. In 2013 he assumed the position of commercial manager Chile, Peru and Colombia at Enel Green Power. In 2017, he took over the management of Mercado Chile at Enel Distribución. In 2022, he took over as general manager of Enel Distribución.
He has more than 24 years of experience in the electrical sector. He worked in companies such as Compañía General de Electricidad SA (CGE), Empresa Eléctrica EMEC S.A. (EMEC) and Compañía Nacional de Fuerza Eléctrica SA (CONAFE); and in public organizations such as the Superintendence of Electricity and Fuels (SEC) and the National Energy Commission (NEC), which has allowed it to have solid technical and economic knowledge in the various topics of the different segments of the Electricity Sector (Generation - Transmission – Distribution). Currently, he is the Manager of the National Federation of Electric Cooperatives Ltd. (FENACOPEL) through which he leads electric cooperatives in various topics of the electric and cooperative sector.
At Equatorial Energia since 2007. Prior to his role as director, he held the positions of Regulation Manager, Corporate Strategy and Regulation Manager and Regulation Superintendent.
Previously, he worked at Abraceel (Brazilian Association of Electric Power Trading Agents) and at ANEEL. Outside the electricity sector, he was a higher education professor in Computer Science and Economics.
His academic background is in Mechanical Engineering, with a master's degree in the area of Analysis of Thermal Systems for power generation. Subsequently, he MBA in Financial Management and Capital Markets and more recently an MBA in Big Data, Business Analytics and Business Management.
Electrical Engineer from the University of Bari, Italy. She has a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Bari. She has held the position of General Manager of Enel Distribución Perú since 2021. Likewise, she has served as Head of Enel Grids Perú since the same year. She has served the Enel Group since 2002, serving, among other positions, as Assistant Manager of Commercial Operations at Enel Romania (2018-2021), as well as Head of the Venice area at Enel Distribución S.p.A. Italy (2016-2018), Head of network development for the territorial distribution of Tuscany and Umbria in Italy (2013-2016), Head of energy measurement and transmission for the territorial distribution of Puglia and Basilicata in Italy (2008-2013) and Head of planning and management of the Bari area (2006-2008).
Electrical Mechanical Engineer and MBA with mention in Projects and Corporate Finance. He has more than 18 years of experience in the electrical sector; Currently, he is General Manager of the Distriluz Group and President of the Peruvian Committee of CIER-PECIER. Likewise, he held positions such as: General Director of Electricity of the Ministry of Energy and Mines; Commercial Corporate Manager of Grupo Distriluz and Regional Manager of Electronorte S.A. of the Distrilight Group.
He has more than 30 years of business experience and 21 as part of the management team of the Endesa and Enel Group. He excelled in various management roles in the EPM, regulation and commercial areas of CODENSA, the Cundinamarca Energy Company and as Global Head of Customer Engagement at Enel Grids (Rome). Currently, he is Director of Strategic Project Management at Iberia Grids of Enel Group.
More than 40 years of business experience in the Brazilian electricity sector, where he excelled in management roles at CESP (Companhia Energética de São Paulo), Elektro, from the Iberdrola group, and Enron. Since 2008, he has held the role of Vice President of Generation, Transmission and Trading at EDP Energias do Brasil, as Director of various EDP companies controlled by the holding. Luiz graduated in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP and has a postgraduate degree in Energy Planning and Privatization Model from Leicester University (England).
Argentine electrical engineer graduated with honors from the National Technological University of Argentina. He has 30 years of professional experience, 22 of them developed in Peru leading companies such as Blue Water Worldwide, Grupo Enel, Enersis, among others.
He currently works as General Manager of the Dunas Group (ElectroDunas, Cantalloc and PPC) and of Contugas. He is also Director of the Argo Transmission Company of Brazil and Cálidda of Peru, as well as Vice President of the Electric Sector of SNMPE.
Electrical engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the Argentine electrical sector. He spent his entire professional career at the Tucumán Electrical Distribution Company (Edet), where he currently works as general manager. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Argentine Cier Committee. From 2016 to 2023, he has held the position of president of the Association of Electricity Distributors of the Argentine Republic (Adeera) and is now the 1st Vice President.
Director of Regulation, degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá, Master's Degree in Thermoeconomics from the Federal University of Itajubá, entered the Global Leadership Program at Iberdrola by IMD and is studying a PhD in Energy Planning at UNICAMP (State University of Campinas).
He began his career in the electrical sector as an Engineer at CESP in 1994. In 1998 he joined ANEEL (National Electric Power Agency) as Superintendent Advisor. During the year 2001, with the rationing, he was called to assume as Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Mines and Energy. The Director has been at Neoenergia for more than 17 years, he joined Celpe as Regulation Superintendent and also held the same position at Coelba. Since 2017 he has been responsible for the Economic and Financial Regulation area of the Neoenergia distributors and since 2021 as Director of Regulation of the Group in all activity segments (electric power generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization).
He is a prominent electromechanical engineer graduated from the National Technological University. He has a solid academic background and more than 12 years of experience in the electrical field. He completed a Specialization in the Electricity Market at ITBA and is soon to finish an MBA at Torcuato Di Tella University.
He began his career in technical jobs at the Operation and Control Center of the SECHEEP company, where he acquired in-depth knowledge of the sector. His passion for innovation and efficiency led him to hold the position of President of the same company in 2019, also assuming the role of General Manager.
During his management, he stood out for the successful implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), promoting the modernization of the company's operational and administrative processes. He has led the company to have the best productivity and collectability indicators in the last 20 years.

Work team
He has worked for the last 15 years in the promotion and development of public policies and programs that promote energy efficiency, renewable energies, electromobility, green hydrogen, the circular economy and electrification, both in Chile and internationally. Within his professional career, he stood out as Head of the Energy Efficiency Division in the Chilean Ministry of Energy and Executive Director of the Chilean Energy Sustainability Agency. He is currently the Executive Director of the Association of Latin American Electric Power Distributors.
Larissa Cunha is Brazilian, she has 13 years of experience in the infrastructure sector and consolidated her corporate career at Enel Group. Her professional career allowed her to get to know the electrical industry in depth, especially the Distribution segment. Likewise, she held positions related to Sustainability, Commercial and Technical Operations with a regulatory focus, which gave her great knowledge on this aspect, both in Brazil and throughout Latin America. She has a master's degree in Strategy and Sustainability from the Federal University of Ceará and a degree in Social Communication from the same institution. She served as a Visiting Researcher at the Université de Montréal. Additionally, she has a degree in Finance from Alumni COPPEAD and in Accounting from the Universidade Estácio de Sá.
Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Universidad de Pacífico. She has 35 years of experience in Financial Management, independent Financial Auditing and special Financial Reviews in agro-industrial, aquaculture and service companies dedicated to representing major international brands.
